Chef Gavin!
Greg is my cook. And he cooks GREAT! He enjoys cooking and I enjoy eating what he cooks. So it only makes sense that our little boy will enjoy it too. Each night while I am reading to the boys Greg is chopping veggies and preparing dinner. We put Grayson to bed and then get Gavin ready. After our final potty break Gavin runs into the kitchen, pushes a chair over to the counter and climbs on top of it. He grabs a pot and a couple of wooden spoons and spatulas. He is armed and ready. What happens next captures one of the cutest daddy/son moments I've witnessed yet! If I offer to help get supplies/veggies or whatever, Gavin quickly extinguishes his need for my help insisting "No Mommy, I cook with Daddy!" Cool! I love to see how excited Gavin gets cooking. After he "cooks" our meal, we let him cook for Boomer. He gets a scooper and fills it with kibble and puts it in Boomer's dish. He then grabs one of the wooden spoons and "stirs" the kibble. Often Gavin will add a couple of flavored dog bones on top too! I'm sure Boomer will have gained a couple of pounds at his next vaccination appointment! Opps!!
