Summer is almost here...

I can tell this summer will be spent in bathing suites! The boys can hardly wait to swim at Papa and ShooShoo's house. It's like a resort we have all access passes to and only 5 minutes away. In the meantime they discovered the sprinklers by accident yesterday while playing sports in the front yard. They were hitting the baseballs when suddenly the sprinkler heads popped up and water came out. The look on there faces was priceless. Needless to say, all there clothes were soaked and their shoes will take days to dry out. Today we planned ahead and put our swim trunks on, lathered in sun block and wore our lightening bug pollywog's! G&G had a blast. It made me smile big to see them so happy with something so simple. Of course it wouldn't be a day with the Howard Boys without some down right funny moments. Gavin discovered the old french tradition of bidet‘s, jumped off the top of the slide-almost broke his legs landing (we’ve spent more time in Urgent Care centers this month than I’d like!) and both boys doing stunts off the slide into the sprinklers. Never NEVER a dull moment.

Argggggg

G&G had a blast at Scarborough Fair during Pirate Weekend. Grayson loved the animal rides. He rode a Indian bull named Romeo, a camel and a war horse named Daisy! Gavin enjoyed the pirate ship ride. Both boys had fun talking to all the "characters" dressed up like pirates and renaissance people. They were very social all day greeting and "arrghhing" and high fiving new friends! We got them both 'safe swords' to play with, although I am thinking I will regret this later.

Going Bonkers Part 2

I knew we would return to Going Bonkers soon! This time we went with the Rampley Crew! We had super fun. Gavin shared some candy with a girl and made a new buddy. They played air hockey and had fun. She tagged around with us most of the time after that! haha! We went to the arcade area upstairs and spent a ridiculous amount of money, won tickets just to redeem them on cheap kid candy! But, hey, the kids had fun. Of course they climbed everywhere in the maze too. And this time Laura and I did too! We all hung out at the top going down the big slide together. So much fun. We will miss the Rampley's when they move but are sure to make some road trips to see them!

Daddy and the Boys!

Greg and the boys had a fun afternoon playing in the front yard. I set up their table and chairs and they had a picnic. Afterward they played sports and rode tricycles. It all ended with a 'daddy dog pile' and all three boys rolling down the hill together. Seriously the laughter was infectious. I couldn't help cracking up listening the all 3 cracking up rolling in the crunchy grass! Love my Howard Boys!
