Busted!

After nap time we usually take a walk and I let the boys have an afternoon snack, however with the summer weather creeping up, I will have to revisit our daily outings. Today G&G wanted to draw with markers. G&G have their own box of markers (minimize screaming and need to share). Gavin was drawing a super picture of a circus with animals and a ring (very cute) and Grayson was drawing shapes (circles and triangles). I thought they were playing so nicely that I was "safe" to leave the room to get the laundry done. I was gone less than 5 minutes and this is what I came back to:
After I said "Graysonnnnnnnnnn!" He looks at me and says "Mommy, pink. Make a mess!"
Thankfully crayola markers are washable. Gavin kept saying "Sayson, not nice, Sayson go to naughty corner!"

Happy Birthday Carter!

G&G had a blast at Carter's 3rd Bday! Casey and Bryce did a great job planning his party. All 2 boys love going to pump it up jr. G&G will celebrate their b-day party at pump it up jr too in August. My camera battery died on me half way through the party, but a was able to get a few cute pictures of the boys.

I worked with Jen in the nursery. We had a lot of fun sharing laughs! Today we got our children together and went to the arboretum. They had a blast running in and out of the playhouses.

My little super heroes part TWO

Okay, so Greg started something with G&G and the super hero jammies. Thankfully I have a couple pairs of caped jammies. This time, however, they were batman! Both G&G looked adorable-and they knew it! This has always been one of my favorite "I'm the mother of boys" moments. I love them having fun in their capes. Even and the end of the day when their capes come off, they will always be my heroes!

My little Super Heroes part ONE

After working 3 12hr shifts in a row, I was tired; really tired! When I got home I found G&G decked out in capes. They were so proud of the caped jammies. They were both running around trying to make their capes "fly!" Greg had a great weekend with the boys while I was at work. He took G&G to the park each day. They explored the woods on a nature hike, played on the playground, played with the soccer ball, ran around the fields. flew kites and ate snacks! Gavin kept talking about how much fun they had when I was reading him his bedtime story. Way to go Greg, what a great Daddy!

Stacy and Jenna

Stacy and I have been friends since our sophomore year in high school. We've kept in touch over the years and got together often. We share so many memories growing up and it's great that we can continue to share our lives together. G&G were so gentle with Jenna. I was worried they would play to rough with her, but they were the "perfect gentlemen!"

Zoo day with our favorite red head!

Dayna and Addison joined G&G and I at the Zoo. We spent a fun morning checking out the animals and playing in the Children's Zoo.

Let's go fly a kite, up to the highest height...

Oh, I used to love this song in Mary Poppins. And today, we did just that! Greg and I took G&G to the park with kites in hand. I also packed their bags for a nature walk. Both G&G had a bag with bread pieces to feed the ducks, fish and turtles. We had a blast. The weather was perfect, the boys were perfect and Greg launched a perfect kite way up in the sky. So much fun! Everybody has a fantastic day.
