Open Mic...check 1-2-3, check 1-2-3

We have a stand up play microphone with speaker in G&G's playroom at Papa and ShooShoo's house. The boys LOVE it. It makes sound effects and will change their voice. Grayson was cracking up us this particular day. He grabbed the mic and started reciting almost every house room with the discipline that will occur it you don't obey Mommy and Daddy! It was priceless. It was like Grayson's Seminar on Expected Good Behavior for Preschooler's! Gavin then grabs the mic and starts making fart noises and singing shake your booty songs...so appropriate! We were all cracking up. To top of the Howard Boys silliness Grayson then attempts to hide in the stuffed animals.. I quickly took a picture because it reminded me of that famous shot of ET hiding in the toys...remember!?! Of course, my little Grayson is much cuter!!

Lions and Tigers and HOWARD BOYS, oh MY!!

We had a great day at the zoo! Gavin was excited to see a Harpy Eagle devouring a huge white rat...guts and all-eww! Grayson loved Jenny and Gypsy the elephants and was obsessed with telling me where to go next by looking at the zoo map. Both boys loved the monorail and had a group of teenage girls in our rail car they were entertaining with their silliness! G&G like seeing the lemurs and started dancing and singing "I like to move it move it..." (Madagascar theme song!) We ended the day with the carousel ride. G&G were so excited to pick out the animal they wanted to ride, however...Grayson screamed the entire ride "I don't liiiiiike ittttt!!!" Gavin sat there on his gorilla and enjoyed the ride!! Afterwards Grayson tells me his favorite part was riding the carousel...yeah, whatever little man!! hahah!

Fishing at White Rock Lake

We had a great time fishing at White Rock Lake with Greg's grad school buddy Nick and his family. Nick has 2 boys also and they all got along great. After fishing we stopped to let the boys burn off any left over energy....and yes, we had to carry them half way back to the house!

Roasting Marshmallows over open fire!!!

G&G and the entire Ramage-Howard Family had a blast at Kayla and Luke's house this weekend. G&G enjoyed watching their dogs play catch in the pool. We ate some great hamburgers and sides. Kayla prepared a super special dessert too! They boys and her roasted marshmallows over open fire and made s'mores! Grayson ate 2 and was bouncing off the walls from the sugar. He provided much entertainment! Gavin enjoyed the roasting part but didn't partake in the eating part-this is the one area we differ, he doesn't prefer sweets! We had such a great evening. Howard Family welcomes Spring!

We welcomed the warm weather and sunny skies with a picnic and a fun filled afternoon at Harry Myers Park. G&G had a blast and honestly so did Mommy and Daddy! We played for long time at the park then went exploring in the woods. I was a little freaked out hiking in the back wooded trails but felt comfortable with Greg leading the way. So fun!
