Our story....................

When I found out we were expecting our 2nd child when our 1st child was only 4 months old, I was scared! We just got Gavin sleeping through the night and colic was finally over. I was excited to be pregnant again - I love being pregnant - and to be blessed with another baby, WOW! After a few months I started planning my life with 2 under 2, most of which included ideas of never leaving the house by myself, never sleeping again, and of course, watching my 2 boys grow up together! I can proudly say I leave the house with these 2 guys daily. We have a blast together. Don't get my wrong, there have been lots of growing pains along the way. It is tough to welcome a newborn into the house of a 13 month old. WHEW! Poor Gavin's little world was turned upside down. Now that we are 10 months into Grayson's arrival I can say Gavin has truly taken ownership of his little brother. He wants to push the stroller, he wants to help carry (hold onto) the car seat carrier, and he will give him his own binky when he is sad (yes, sharing germs is inevitable with 2 this close together, of course I quickly give Grayson his own binky!) Grayson idolizes Gavin. He watches him so intently, laughs at his every move and gets so excited laughing and kicking his legs when Gavin pays him just the slightest bit of attention. It is amazing! When I see my boys laughing together and jibbering their special baby code language my heart tingles and I forget all the frustrations!
