We miss Papa!

Normally each weekend we spend an afternoon and evening with Papa and ShooShoo. G&G look forward to the these special times playing with their grandparents. This last weekend we were out of town and didn't get to see them until late Sunday evening. They were so excited to see their Papa and ShooShoo. And by judging by the look on Papa's face he was equally excited to see his boys!

Jump and Slide Boys!!

G&G had a blast at Boomerang! Casey and Carter and Janah, Hayden and Hudson joined us for a super fun play date. Ironically it was also Hudson's 2nd year birthday! We not only had a super good time but we also celebrated Hudster's bday. The boys and Hayden had a blast. Grayson was Hayden's new little shadow...they were inseparable! Gavin, Carter and Hudson played together bouncing and sliding on all the bounce houses.

Our little Policeman and Fireman

Papa and ShooShoo got G&G the cutest trunk filled with dress up costumes for boys. Included were cowboy, pirate, policeman and fireman. G&G loved the outfits and dressed up all afternoon! They has a blast. Gavin wanted to put everything on....at the same time! haha! He was so excited and didn't want to share. Grayson loved the pirate and fireman. Gavin loved the fireman and policeman. Gavin got so into his role as policeman he cuffed Grayson...yea, that ended up with lots of screaming! This trunk of hero dress up will be a favorite play activity for a LONG time!

Gavin's First Day at Preschool

OMG! I can't believe Gavin is in preschool now. Gavin has been in the early Preschool class at Primrose since last year. Primrose does an assessment and Gavin tested ready to move up! He wasn't excited about it either. He kept saying "I don't want to go to peeschool!" hah! I reminded him that he would see his friends, but he was still not excited. A couple of days ago 2 of his favorite friends at Primrose moved to preschool and Gavin was a little bummed out about it. I took a new angle and told Gavin, "You don't have to go to baby class anymore now that you are a BIG boy you get to go to preschool!" YES! That worked. Now all we hear is "I big boy now. I go to peeschool!" Here are a couple of pictures of Gavin getting ready for his first day. Gavin was dancing in one picture saying "Big Boy PEESCHOOL" SO cute.

Hayden

Gavin and Hayden have been friends since Gavin was a newborn. Really! Hayden was so excited when I had a baby. (a sure sign of a future great big sister!) I have so many precious pictures of them over the last almost 3 years. Hayden is coming over before and after camp a few days this month. Gavin is beside himself with excitement. Our first night with Hayden we celebrated by making a palate and having popcorn. So cute! Hayden is such a joy to have in our house. She has everyone in this house minding and listening to her; Boomer sits, releases, and lays down ON COMMAND, G&G listen to her when she tells them to obey and keeps them in line. It's amazing!
Greg and I have come to the conclusion that instead of another baby, we need to adopt a 6 year old girl! hah!

Slip N' Slide

I have been working a couple weekends a month lately. Greg has been super dad during the days I am not here. Greg takes the boys to the park for adventure walks and fun on the playground. We got a slip and slide thinking they would love it. Unfortunately the only one who loved it was, that's right-you guessed it-BOOMER!! G&G played in the water for a few minutes, then lost interest. Maybe in next summer. At any rate, Boomer had a blast!
