Bounce and Spin Grayson!

WHOA, hold on Grayson! Grayson has been ridding his Zebra for a while now, but just recently figured out how to jump and spin on it. Sometimes he gets going so fast he fly's off the back side.

Balloon Babies

Okay, so YES I admit it, I spoil my boys! I just love 'em so much!!
Gavin loves balloons-for those of you who went to Grayson's b-day party, you witnessed 1st hand his love of balloons.. The good part is he likes to play with them for a little while and then he says "I want to sent the balloon to the moon!!" This translates to cut the string off to minimize the deadly effects to the birds and let the darn balloon go! We go in the backyard and he counts down "ready set 1,2,3, go!" and then he releases the balloon waving to it "bye bye balloon, go to the moon!" SO funny. Now Grayson has taken a liking to balloons too! 'Course he isn't crazy about the idea of letting it go yet. Gavin expects this event to occur nightly like dinner and bath..YIKES...so we are weaning the balloon frenzy...

I wanna be just like you Daddy!

Gavin and Greg have a weekend ritual. Greg takes Gavin to the park where they hike along the creek and discover the "woods". They throw rocks in the creek and watch them ripple, run in the field nearby, collect rocks, and Gavin plays on the playground. All in all it's a great Daddy and son special outing. Grayson will be joining them soon! Here is a cute photo of Greg and Gavin getting the water for their adventure!

Harbor Patrol

Gavin and Grayson had super fun at Papa and ShooShoo's house in their new pool boats! Gavin loved his harbor patrol boat with squirt gun. He was aiming and squirting everyone. So funny. Grayson just chilled out in his float laughing and smiling. Gavin loved playing in the water and was floating back and forth to Papa and me with his new life vest. Water babies for sure!

CPA study session

As Greg is completing his CPA exams, Gavin's curiosity continues to grow. He sees Daddy studying this large book and working on his laptop at the kitchen table. Finally he told Greg "See See, wanna see!" Greg picked him up and started reading to him. It's so cute how interested Gavin looked while he read.

A place to hide and play!

On a whim, I purchased the boys a tent for their playroom; a tent that looked like a shart! It's amazing how a clearance item at Target can provide hours and hours of entertainment! They have had a blast playing and resting in their tent. They both brought their pillows into the tent and rested, then Grayson (whoo-hoo!) tackled Gavin and the pillow fight began! So fun.

Happy 1st Birthday Grayson!

My little "Sayson" (Gavin can't pronounce his G's) turned one last weekend. We celebrated with a birthday at Little Gym. We had many friends and family show up to support and celebrate with the little guy! Thank you to all who attended, it really means alot to me to take time out of your busy weekend to spend it with us. You guys are the best! **hugs**

We all had a great time....Meanwhile my heart feels full and my eyes are damp. I can't believe we have made it the first year with 2 under 2. I remember being so scared of having essentially 2 babies and not thinking I could manage. Well, we did it! Thanks to a supportive husband - the best - parents who rock, and friends who help keep me grounded when I feel frazzled! It truly takes a village. I am so proud of Gavin with such a drastic change in his life during his own baby-hood. And Grayson, well, words can't express how blessed we are to have him as our son. He is a fine addition to our family and we love him bunches.
